Jennifer Aniston has been single since she parted ways with musician John Mayer last year, although she has been linked to hunks including Gerard Butler. It has now been claimed she is happy on her own, and is refusing to rush into a new relationship. She is enjoying going on dates with different people, and is in no hurry to settle down, and even said to enjoy her life when she turned 40.
One of the men the 41-year-old star is understood to be dating is actor Chris Gartin, who her friend Courteney Cox-Arquette introduced her to. Courteney and her husband David have been friends with Chris for years, and knew he would get along well with Jennifer.
“Courteney and David arranged a dinner and didn’t tell either of them it was a fix-up. Jen arrived late so she was flustered, but Chris poured her a glass of wine and told her to relax. That was it, they were chatting away and making each other laugh,” a source explained.

Jennifer Aniston gets to go to lots of wonderful countries when she is promoting her films but has a special list of places she wants to visit by herself so she can experience the local culture without the work pressure.
She said: “I travel a lot for work but I need to start travelling more for myself – it’s really important to me. You’d be shocked at my list of places I want to go. I want to go to India, Bali and I would love to go to Italy – I’ve never been to Florence or to Venice. I also want to go to Thailand and Fiji – a lot of places!”
When asked what her top travel destination is, the 41-year-old actress said: “Paris, definitely. I love the people, the elegance, and the beauty of it.” Said she stayed years ago at a little boutique hotel, she couldn’t tell the name of it now, only that it wasn’t one of the big fancy ones as she have always liked those little quaint places that makes her feel like she’s in someone’s apartment, rather than at a hotel.

Jennifer Aniston has joined a long line of stars such as Halle Berry, Paris Hilton and Jennifer Lopez, who all have perfumes under their belt. But the former Friends actress has hinted that she may not stop at a fragrance.
She said, “We’ve got to start somewhere and let’s just see how this goes but anything is possible. It would be great.”
The actress unveiled her debut scent, simply named Jennifer Aniston, at London’s Harrods and said her friends are as delighted with the final product as she is.
“They love it. Everybody’s so excited. They’re exhausted with me asking them to put their wrist out and saying ‘Try this!’ It’s been a year and a half almost of me having them test smells!”

Jason R Peyton was arrested by police last week after he allegedly turned up at Sunset Boulevard in an attempt to marry Jennifer Aniston.
Jennifer Aniston was granted a temporary restraining order against this male fan by a Californian court on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old was reportedly found with a sharp object, duct tape and love notes for Jennifer.
Peyton is now being held at a psychiatric unit, reports the Associated Press.
A hearing on extending the restraining order will be held 9 August.
